Services include editing and proofreading of academic theses and other scholarly writing such as journal articles, academic monographs and book chapters, reviews, reports and grant applications.

 

For research students, in additional to conventional copyediting and proofreading, I insert detailed comments on the thesis draft, making suggestions and queries and raising issues for clarification. I then discuss these comments with the researcher, by email or face-to-face (in person, or on Zoom), resulting in a quality editing service that supports students through the difficult final stages of thesis preparation.
